For drivers

Moving to a new country means figuring out who to trust with almost everything again — including your car. vFix grew out of repair-shop recommendations that used to pass quietly from person to person in a Telegram group for Ukrainian- and Russian-speaking drivers in Spain. We built this site so that same trust reaches further: to anyone in the community who needs a mechanic and doesn't yet know who to ask.

"Verified" means we've spoken with the shop's owner (or someone who can speak for them) and they've confirmed the shop exists, its contacts work, and the languages and services listed are accurate. We never mark it on trust alone.

"Unconfirmed" means the shop hasn't confirmed its own listing yet: we compiled it from public sources (like Google Maps), sometimes together with partial contact with the shop. The services, prices, and hours shown are an estimate, not verified information — it doesn't mean the shop isn't trustworthy, only that we haven't checked it with them yet.

Using vFix costs nothing, and right now listing costs shops nothing either. If that ever changes, we'll say so here just as plainly.
