Removing parts such as fuel injectors, carburettors, throttle bodies or EGR valves and cleaning them in an ultrasonic bath, where sound waves shake loose carbon, varnish and grime from places a brush cannot reach. Injectors are usually tested for flow and spray pattern on a bench before and after. This is a parts-off job, unlike engine decarbonisation, which cleans a running engine through its intake.

Making metal parts to order that cannot be bought off the shelf — exhaust sections, brackets, mounts, intake pipes, guards — and welding stainless steel and aluminium with TIG (argon) welding, which these metals need for a clean, strong joint.
