Chrome plating of trim and bumpers

Category: Bodywork, paint & glass

Also known as: rechroming, chrome restoration, cromado de piezas, cromado, cromar parachoques

Re-chroming or polishing back the bright metal parts of a car or motorcycle — bumpers, grilles, mirror housings, headlamp rims, door handles, mouldings and exhaust tips — when the chrome has pitted, peeled or rusted. Common on classic cars; the parts are removed and plated, then refitted. Painting chrome trim black or body colour is listed separately.
