Replacing a blown bulb — headlight, brake light, indicator, number-plate or fog light — or a whole headlight or tail-light unit when it is cracked or has failed, then checking that the headlights are aimed correctly. Often done on the spot, and a common quick fix before the ITV. Finding an electrical fault behind a light that still won't work is electrical repair; polishing cloudy headlight lenses is headlight restoration.
