Rebuilding the turbocharger of a truck, bus, tractor or other heavy machine: the unit is stripped, worn bearings, seals and shaft are replaced, the rotating parts are balanced at speed, and the variable-geometry vanes and actuator are cleaned and calibrated, or an exchange unit is fitted.
