Cleaning a convertible's fabric or vinyl roof by hand with a soft brush and a dedicated cleaner, then, once it is dry, sealing it with a water-repellent treatment so rain beads off instead of soaking in and moss and grime do not settle. Faded fabric can also be re-coloured with a hood dye. A torn roof or a new hood is upholstery work, not this.
