Finding and fixing why an engine overheats or keeps losing coolant. The system is pressure-tested to locate the leak, then whatever is at fault is replaced: a hose, the radiator, the expansion tank, the thermostat, the cooling fan or the water pump. Draining and refilling the coolant on schedule is a separate, routine job, and a water pump changed as part of a timing belt kit belongs with that job instead.
